Replacement blades fail on fitment far more often than on material. A blade that arrives a hole out means the truck is off the route while somebody drills it. Our replacement programme exists to remove that risk: you send the pattern, we reproduce it, and it bolts straight on.
How we match a replacement blade
- Identify the pattern. A part number, a drawing, or photographs of the blade with a tape measure across the bolt centres.
- Confirm the load faces. Length, thickness, edge angle, hole diameter and countersink depth are all recorded on a drawing we send back for approval.
- Reproduce and check. The carrier is produced to the approved drawing and checked against it before the carbide is applied.
- Archive it. The drawing stays on file, so the next replacement order is a repeat rather than a re-measure.

What to send
- Overall length and thickness, or the original part number.
- Bolt hole centres measured across and along the blade, plus hole diameter.
- Edge angle if it differs from standard, and the direction of rotation where the blade is reversible.
- A photograph of the blade mounted on the machine — this catches detail a measurement sheet misses.
- Quantity and required delivery window.
If your blade is rotated to extend its life, tell us at the start. The hole countersink and the insert layout have to be symmetric for rotation to work properly.
Replacement without a season’s lead time
Because the drawing is archived after the first order, repeat replacements skip the specification stage entirely. That is the practical difference between a supplier who keeps records and one who asks you to measure the same blade every year.
Materials
Replacement blades are available in the same materials as our standard range — vulcanised rubber-flex bodies with carbide wear segments, steel-backed carbide edges, or plain steel where the application does not justify carbide.
Can you copy a blade from another manufacturer?
Yes, provided we can measure it. Send the worn blade or detailed measurements with photographs, and we will produce a drawing for your approval before manufacturing.
Do you keep our pattern on file?
Yes. The approved drawing is archived against your account, so repeat orders can be quoted from the file.
What if I do not know the part number?
Measurements and a photograph are enough. Bolt hole centres, overall length, thickness and hole diameter are what define the pattern.
Can I order a mixed set for different machines?
Yes. Send the requirement per machine and we will group the order so each set is separately identified and packed.
